RedBalls League

Here are some Keeper Rules, all other rules will be displayed once you are in the Yahoo! Redballs VI league UI.

Keeper Rules:

1. You can keep anyone from any round.

2. Every team can keep up to 3 players.

3. No team has to keep any player, you can keep 1, 2 or 3.

4. If you choose to keep a player on your team from the previous season, that player will count in the current draft as a draft pick in the round preceding the original round that the player was drafted in.  ie. if you drafted Arod in round 3 in yr 1, and keep him in yr 2, he will count as your 2nd round draft pick. (There are 2 exceptions to this rule which will be mentioned in the problems section)

5. Keepers from the FA pool (those who went undrafted) will count as your 15th rnd draft pick

6. If 2 players were drafted in the same round (ie trade or FA pick up), the spot will be rounded to the next highest in the following draft. ie. you pick Ortiz in round 10 and trade for Manny also taken in round 10. You will lose your 8th and 9th rnd picks the following years if those 2 players are kept.

Pots:

Division A Winner: 1/3 of total pot

Division B Winner 1/3 of total pot

Final Tournament Winner: 1/3 of total pot

League Fees:

TBD I am thinking that we should put in $25 for the pot and $15 for the league fee meaning I will collect $40 at sign up.

Draft:

Scheduled for the Sunday night before the season starts, 3/29/09 at 5 pm PST or 8 pm EST. Those in the SF area can feel free to drop by my house to draft and talk shit.
